What are Content Units?

Content Units are plug-in content for Affiliates to use on their web sites. Similar to a traditional banner advert and as easy to use for Affiliates, they are generally based around promoting products from the Merchant and have a much greater flexibility in terms of what you can do over other types of creative.

For example, if the Affiliate wanted to promote a certain range of products, instead of using a banner to promote the Merchant, the Affiliate could use a Content Unit and show the products themselves on the Affiliate website.

Availability of Content Units

Content Units have been available from many Affiliate Networks for a while now. Unfortunately their true potential has never been realised, with quite basic Content Units that were static and failed to keep up to date, resulting in broken or out dated content. Until now!

The Next Generation of Content Units

In January 2007, Paid On Results launched the Next Generation of Content Units. Instead of the static Content Units of the past, these new Content Units are incredible plug-in dynamic and interactive content. They look fantastic and we are really pleased with them at Prezzy Box HQ! I think the flexibility of them (with regards to size/dimensions) and the customer interactivity (being able to select by price range etc) as a great step in the right direction.

What I particularly like about them is the fact that they will include all of our top selling products so in theory everything you will be promoting should really be the products that are converting well.
